Hi Everyone,

We are going to the Calgary Firefighter’s Museum this month! If you have RSVP’d by February 6th, you can join up with a group from CASS visiting the museum on Friday February 9th for a guided tour, and, if you want, an art activity afterward. Please contact me directly to let me know if you want to come. Space is very limited, so RSVP’s are needed.

The Cerebral Palsy Association of Alberta Has a wealth of social and educational programs running this year. If you are looking to have fun while building on your art, music, horticultural, or computing skills, Check out the attached program guide for more info. There are also social groups and FREE massage therapy times for people with disabilities and their supports/family members, provided by the Mount Royal University second year practicum students.

Inside Out Theatreis currently accepting new registrations for their theatre programming. Each 10-week session will cost $50, and scholarships are available. See for class types and times, or to register.

We are starting another new year of the Community Connections program with the Telus Spark Science Centre. The program is mostly the same, except all dome shows and special exhibits are free with the passes now! The current exhibit is Whales Tohora, and is a huge interactive area filled with artifacts, games, and videos so you can learn about whales, Maori whaling cultures, and the effects that over-harvesting and scientific research has had on both. Please contact me if you would like to sign out a pass. We ask that passes are brought back within a week of signing them out. Passes are not to be used for staff or family visits, a CASS client must be present each time a pass is used. Passes may only be used once per day.
